Muhammad in Bible (Song of Solomon : 5 : 10-16)

Below are verses which I got from Song of Solomon. These verses told about someone who became the beloved one of Solomon. All described on the description and the body of the person. This verse was revelation and included in the list of Old Testament, therefore, we don't need to be doubtful to believe it.

My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven. His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires. His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem. (King James Version)

If we admired someone, then we will be enchanted to him. Whether it is his personality, his words, or his face. In this prophecy, we see a man who was created by beauty and bright. The beauty which will make anyone falls in love. Prophet Solomon admired the beauty of the person he loved so that his words were full of meaning.
Same like Prophet Solomon, people who lived with and witnessed Prophet Muhammad also described his face and body. Even though we never saw him like what, it's enough for us to see him like his companions said. One thing that we have to know, the Prophet's companions were people who were well known for their honesty in saying. They were not people who like to add more or tell lie. If they saw A, then they would say A. If they heard B, then they would say B. Most sources about Prophet Muhammad's appearances below are coming from book of Mukhtashar asy-Syamâil al-Muhammadiyyah written by Syaikh al-Albâni rahimahullah. Most Hadits below are considered Shahih (true and correct) and can be used for argumentation.

My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.

The first feature of Solomon's beloved one was his white and ruddy (reddish) skin. The white was not milk white but it was reddish white. The white if it was looked would attract everyone's eyes that see him.
Similar thing was also said by the Prophet's companions who had ever lived with him. Anas bin Malik, his close friend, also said that Muhammad had reddish white skin,

"Messenger of God had a medium body,  reddish white skin, not too white but also not too dark. His hair could be said straight and somewhat curly. Allah appointed him as Prophet when he was forty years old. After that he lived at Mecca for thirteen years. Then in Madinah for ten years. Allah called him to his presence (passed away) in the age of sixty three years. In that time there was just small gray hair which grew in his hair and beard. (Narrated by Anas bin Malik)

My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.

Then, Prophet Solomon said that his beloved one was the chiefest among ten thousand. The chiefest means someone who was the highest rank in group or military troops. And in the Hebrew Bible, it was called by a standard-bearer. Standard-bearer was position usually taken by the leader of a troop.
Solomon said that his beloved one would be the chiefest among ten thousand people. He would be the leader or the commander of troops who were ten thousand.
This prophecy was proven by what happened fourteen centuries ago. Prophet Muhammad had also ever become leader in the troops of ten thousand people to Mecca. He came there to freeing the city from idols and polytheism. All expression, whether the chiefest and the standard-bearer have the same meaning. He lead the troops and was looked by the people as the chiefest.

His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven.

Another feature of him was his head which was like gold. His head was so lovely and fine as gold. His face was so handsome and bright like a gold,
Abu Hurairah also said the same,

Abu Hurairah said : "The Messenger of God was so handsome, he was like created from silver. His hair was inclined to curly. Abu Hurairah also narrated: "I have never seen someone so fine and so handsome as the Messenger of God. His countenance was bright as sun, and I have also never seen someone who walked as fast as him. As if the earth was rolled by his steps when he was walking. Even though we try to balance his walk, but he looked walking with relaxed." (narrated by Abu Hurairah)

his locks are bushy, and black as a raven.

Another feature of him was his very black hair and rather bushy (curly). Prophet Muhammad also had same hair as described by Prophet Solomon,

Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of God was so handsome, he was like created from silver. His hair was inclined to curly.

Anas bin Malik said,

"Messenger of God had a medium body, reddish  white skin, not too white but also not too dark. His hair could be said straight and somewhat curly.

Muhammad Husain Haikal, Biographer of Prophet Muhammad, also said like that,

"His face was sweet and beautiful, his body was medium, not too tall and not too short, he also had big head, his hair was very black between curly and straight."

Then, the Prophet Solomon gave the characteristic of his beloved one's gaze,

His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set.

His gaze was full of affection. Have you ever seen the dove, bird that is known very gentle and compassionate, ya, that's what like his eyes. His eyes were not eyes which were full of hate and disdain. But, his eyes were like dove's eyes who sat by the rivers of waters. His eyes were fitly set.
We also hear similar saying from the person who had ever heard about him,

"His gaze was always bent down as (commanded by) law (Holy Koran), and more often seeing to beneath than to above. He never saw someone with goggling, his gaze was always soothing. He also always walked rather backside, especially when having far trip and he always be the first to greet someone he met in the street". (Hind bin Abi Halah, narrated by Hasan bin Ali).

His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh.

His face was so beautiful and making glad anyone who saw him. His lips was like lilies. From his mouth was coming kind words. His face was so handsome and sweet like flowers.

Bara'a bin Azib was asked whether the face of the Messenger of God was shining like a shone sword?. He answered: "No!, but more resembled to bright full moon". (Narrated by Abu Ishaq from Bara'a bin Azib).

Jabir said : "I saw the Messenger of God in the full moon night, he wore a red cloth. I started to gaze at him and the moon, he was more beautiful than the moon instead."

Abu Ath-Thufail said :"I have ever seen the Prophet (Muhammad). There is no one remained in this world who had seen the Messenger of God than me. "He has white skin, handsome, and medium (body)."

"His face was sweet and beautiful, his body was medium, not too tall and not too short, he also had big head, his hair was very black between curly and straight." (Muhammad Husain Haikal, Biographer of Prophet Muhammad)

His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory  overlaid with sapphires. His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars

His feet were white and strong like pillars of marble. His body countenance was like Lebanon. Lebanon was a country well known for its hefty mountain and its cedars which was strong. Then, the person was described to have body like Lebanon mountain and its strong cedars.
Similar account was also said by his companion, Ali bin Abi Thalib,

Ali bin Abi Thalib also narrated: "The Messenger of God's hair was straight and rather curly. He didn't have fat and corpulent body, he had fine and erect body. His complexion was bright, his eyes were black with long eyebrow. His joints were strong and his chest was quite firm, and also for his hands and feet. (Narrated by Ali bin Abi Thalib)

The last verse said like this,

His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

In the last verse, Prophet Solomon said that the person had a sweet mouth. From his mouth was coming out good and kind words so that the beauty of his face became more perfect with his kind words.

Prophet Muhammad was also known very kind in saying. He was not someone who liked to curse or to say vile words,

"The Messenger of God was suggested to curse the polytheists. But he answered: "I am not sent to curse, but I am sent as mercy". (HR. Bukhari and Muslim)

Hadits narrated by Aisyah, she said: "A group of Jews asked permission to meet the Messenger of God then they said: "Assaamu Alaikum" (death upon you). Aisyah answered: "Bal Alaykumussaam" (but you yourself would get the death). The Messenger of God reprimanded her: "O Aisyah, Allah verily likes friendliness in everything". Aisyah said: "Did you hear what they said?. The Messenger of God said: "I have answered: Wa alakum ( and may it upon you). (Shahih Muslim)

Another proof which will strengthen this person as Prophet Muhammad was the word Muhammad which existed in this verse,

His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

Ahmad deedat, a Writer and Debater who was well versed in the matter of Bible, said that the sentence "Altogether lovely" which was existed in the verse above contained Muhammad's name. In his book Combat Kit against Bible Thumpers said, if the Hebrew version is opened, then it will be read Muhummedim. From the word Muhummed with addition im.
****
The prophecy which we've just read added our belief that Muhammad was declared in the Old Testament. Solomon lived several hundred years before Muhammad was born in the world. But, all what he said was very appropriate with the characteristic and countenance of the Prophet Muhammad. Actually, there was another verse which also described someone like Prophet Muhammad.
Daniel, a prophet who lived when the Jews was captivity by Babylonian Empire had ever prophesied someone he saw in his vision. The person had characteristic like Muhammad. Below was the prophecy,

“I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude." (Daniel : 10: 5-6)

The person had a gleaming body like topaz. His face shone like a lightning. While his legs and arms like a burnished bronze.
The question is why those characteristics specifically said face, arms, and legs. Why he said about these three parts of the bodies. These three parts, as he said, looked radiant and light. Weren’t these three parts which were washed every day by Muhammad's people. Allah asked Prophet Muhammad and his followers to wash these three parts when they wanted to do Solah (ritual prayer).
His arms and legs gleamed as if the burnishes bronze. It was an allegory from person who like to wash his arms and legs. Someone who liked to wash his arms and legs then both parts would gleam. It was an allegory from the practice of ablution which was usually done by the Prophet Muhammad and his followers which we usually called "wudhu". A Muslim always rubs his arms and legs when he wants to have an ablution.
Then it was said that his eyes like flaming torch and his voice like the sound of multitude,

his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude." (Daniel:10:5-6)

This characteristic was also appropriate with Prophet Muhammad. If he wanted to give a sermon in front of his people, then his eyes would be reddening as if flaming torch and his voice would go high as if he was a troop commander. His voice would be rumbling and be heard by many people. As if his voice was the voice of multitude. Jabir, his companion, said about him,

Jabir Ibnu Abdullah said: It was the Messenger of God when he gave a sermon: his eyes would be reddening, his voice would go high, and his anger would harden as if he was a troop commander who said :"Enemy will attack you in the morning and in the evening."He (Prophet Muhammad)  said: "Amma ba'du, verily the best word is Allah's book, and the best guidance is Muhammad's guidance, the worst matter is heresy (a deed that prophet never taught), and every heresy is deviation".

Jabir was one of prophet's companions who also narrated another Hadits. It means he also used to see Prophet Muhammad in his daily life. Habit and deed which Prophet Muhammad did above were usual especially when he gave a sermon. His reddening eyes and rumbling voice were activity that became a habit. That habit (reddening eyes and rumbling voice) only happened when he gave a sermon. This habit didn't happen in every of his behavior.

“his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude." (Daniel:10:5-6)

By so, this prophecy was appropriate with the vision of Prophet Daniel without any doubt.
